October 27, 2024 We drove home from AZ on Monday and got back into our regular routine at home. Des did a good job on the trip! Better than I expected, especially when we were there. And now we are trying to sleep train him which has been rough. He’ll get there. He is so darn cute! He loves eating everything and anything he can get into his mouth and has a second tooth sprouting out that is likely part of the input to his extended crying sessions at night. Greyson and I had a fun date on Friday night going to the BYU HBLL Film Archive showing of the 1951 "The Thing". He seemed to like it ok and it wasn't too scary. He's still very much into "scary" things and continues to make books about haunted houses and such. He also is still obsessed with "I survived" stories and is often asking how long ago these events were (e.g. the 1900 Galveston Hurricane).
