gw225's photostream on Flickr. I don't have all the answers, but Flickr is a great place to share photos. It may actually be an alternative to the current site that we have been using as a family. I think it is a great way to share photos - AND it has some really awesome pictures. You can license them too! When looking for good images, try Flickr - rather than google images for more quality, interesting, and clean images.

As some of you know I am taking a film history class right now which focuses on the silent era. We watch one or more films each day and I have really begun to like and appreciate silent movies. I think so far my favorite ones have been the comedy genre and not so much the epic drama. This one is from a french filmmaker who later did a great series about a French villan. This next one is really funny! We talked about the genius of the humor here in how it is mixing documentary style with performance. In some ways it reminds of Forrest Gump when he meets promenant people of society. Look for the long panning shot - it is so funny! I hope you enjoy it!
