The End of April

G with sibs in UT Grandpa Williams and Grandpa Halvorsen  This month I (Greg) flew to UT to enjoy Lucy's masterful senior recital performance. It was really well done, and I felt happy to be there. It was great to see family there too, and I really enjoyed the unique opportunity of attending Priesthood with both my grandpa's. We recently had our family pictures taken (currently pending) and before the photographer arrived Hinckley really got a kick out of the swing. The big trip this month was our weekend getaway to Nauvoo, IL and a pitstop at Liberty, MO. April Showers Bring...

We have had so much fun lately! The last week of March, Hinckley and I (Kassie) went to Branson, MO, with the Burnsides. We stayed in a really cute little bungalow. Hinckley enjoyed all of the attention from his grandparents and aunts. We went to the Butterfly Pavilion, the Titanic Museum, the wax museum, College of the Ozarks, a fish hatchery, and the Acrobats of China show. We stayed pretty busy--we didn't even have time to go swimming! It was hard to strike a balance between nap-time and play-time, so there were moments of much crying and screaming. It was so fun, but it was nice to get home and get back to a routine when the time came. Traveling with a baby is hard work! Butterflies can calm a baby like nothing else This week has really seemed like the beginning of Spring here in Tulsa. I think our days of below-freezing temps are over (of course, it is Oklahoma, so you never know). We have been able to take walks on most days. Hinckley loves being outside--as do his
