March 29, 2026 This week we prepared for Easter with a few musical rehearsals and a neighborhood Easter Egg dash. Kassie, Hinckley, and I are playing "He is Risen" with our ward orchestra and band and I'm singing "I love the Lord" (Nephi's psalm that BYU men's chorus did those years ago) with some men in the ward. Hinckley has finished up the swim season and is excited about 2 weeks off before the summer season starts. Addie got a haircut this week which she was very excited about, and reported that it was well received by her peers at school. The allergies have been rough on her. She had a fun date with Mom and her friend Brooke going to a Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary celebration in Provo where they did beads and other things. Addie loves watching that show. March 1, 2026 This week included a quick business trip for me to Atlanta. I flew out Monday and returned late Tuesday night after a successful meeting for a work project. We were grateful for Mom and Dad coming to help with the kids while I was gone. Everything seemed to run smoothly at home. Greyson made a couple of trips to the skate park this week and continues to love riding the trick scooter he bought with his own money. He’s proud of that purchase and spends as much time as possible outside riding. Addie had a big moment at the rec center on Saturday when she worked up the courage to go down the tunnel slide and ended up really enjoying it. She's been working things out with friends and a deep dislike of school and we're hoping to find her voice lessons soon. Hinckley is gearing up for state swim this coming week and attended a special team dinner with the coaches on Saturday night.
