The Gray Report

January 28, 2024 This week we celebrated Greyson's six years! He was a little under the weather but not enough to miss school or celebrations, he was just a little more subdued than normal. He got his requests for french toast in bed in the morning, mac and cheese in the bath for lunch, and nachos in the evening. It was fun to have Nana and Grandpa come over and hear of their MTC reflections as they prepare to leave for Germany on Monday. Greyson was excited about a Scooby-Doo shirt and costume he got, a Grinch card game (and cake), and a Michael Jordan poster too. He and I are going to see the Jazz play in a couple of weeks as well so he had a great day. Greyson went with Kassie to her check in with the midwives and did really well. He helped find the baby’s heart beat and got to feel the baby’s feet/leg kicking. Kassie said it was really good to have him there so I’m glad that worked out. December 30, 2023 We had a memorable Christmas in Lehi. On Christmas Eve the kids and I went down to Provo and enjoyed a walk/hike in the rocks and trails at the foot of Y Mountain. We had a delicious southern breakfast feast Kassie made in commemoration of our trip to Charleston earlier this year. It included Pimento cheese on biscuits with eggs and grits. We watched The Shepherd and opened ornament gifts. Going to bed that night we caught Greyson trying to sneak down to see if the gifts were out. Christmas morning everyone was happy with their various gifts and candy for breakfast. They immediately set about working on Lego creations, playing basketball, and watching Space Jam . We enjoyed having Mom and Dad over for Christmas dinner, and we played one of the new games we received with them which was really fun.
